Hello, there reader, I am Milos Arifovic, welcome to The City Gentleman, a men‘s lifestyle blog.
This blog is also my journey to becoming a better man.
If you are interested in my story and why I started this blog, stay a while and listen.
It all started three years ago when I was a different person, who was struggling with a LOT of personal issues. I was morbidly obese and had low self-esteem problems. Because of that and some other things I was stuck in life and had no idea what to do next.
After graduating from college, I took an interest in men‘s fashion and started to read books, listening to podcasts, watching videos about men’s style. This interest soon became a passion that gave me the nudge that I needed to start fixing my life. It took some time and a lot of hard work but I managed to lose over 60 pounds, and get my life back on track.
Unfortunately, at that time I had to learn the hard way that the way you dress, your grooming habits and even your body build affect the way other people perceive you and it affects your confidence a lot more.
Now, about the blog
I created The City Gentlemen to share some useful tips and guides about men’s style, grooming, personal development, and men’s lifestyle in form of blog posts which will take you a few minutes to read.
Apart from men’s style, there will be also a cooking section of the blog. It will feature recipes and cooking tips primarily to help men who are struggling to cooks for themselves.
Guys, I am not a professional cook, just a guy who knows how to prepare a nice home-cooked meal for himself. Cooking is an essential skill that every man should know and in order to help you out, I will feature delicious and easy to make recipes.
Another thing to mention is that this is a bilingual blog which means that I will upload articles in English and Serbian.
The first couple of months will be a sort of testing period to see how many people are interested in what I have to say. If people are interested then I will post even more articles and will invest more funds so that this site becomes even better.
If all of this sounds interesting to you, consider following me on social media and subscribing to the newsletter to stay informed.
