The humble bread is one of the most basic foods we eat. You can make it from wheat, corn, banana, rye, etc, etc.
That being said, making bread is not exactly the easiest thing to make and it does require some practice and patience.
To make your job a bit easier I will share with you 2 recipes for bread, one “classic” recipe which is a bit harder to make and a second one that is pretty easy to make and it doesn’t require lot of skill.
INGREDIENTS
800g – 1kg white all purpose white flour
400 – 600 ml lukewarm water
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
40g yeast
PREPARATION
Step 1
Before you begin kneading the dough, we need to dunk the yeast in lukewarm water for 5 minutes so It can “activate”.
Put 500 – 600 grams of all purpose white flour, sugar, yeast and salt into one bowl. After that add your lukewarm water, little by little, also add the rest of your flour.
You need to knead the dough that it can become a uniform mass which is thick and doesn’t stick to the fingers.
After you finished kneading the dough, leave it for 30 – 45 minutes so It can grow.
Your dough should double in size.

Step 2.
Sprinkle some flour onto the working surface, so the dough won’t stick to the working surface and then transfer your dough from the bowl onto the working surface.
Now knead your dough into the desired shape.
Put your dough in a baking tray, cover it for 15 – 20 minutes so it can grow again. Like the last time the dough will double in size.
Step 3.
After some 10 minutes preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 200 – 220 degrees Celsius.
Step 4.
After you inserted your baking tray into the oven, bake your bread at 200 – 220 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes or so, a good indicator is when your bread starts turning into a golden – yellow color.
Lower the temperature to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for another 15 – 20 minutes.
After baking your bread leave it in the oven for 5 minutes and then take it out.

Step 5.
Now that your bread is out of the oven, leave it for 30 minutes to “rest”.
And another bread recipe.
Now we are finished with the “classical” recipe. This recipe is more time demanding but it is easier to make.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups of flour – of which
2 ½ cups of rye flour
½ cup of all purpose white flour
2 tsp salt
½ tsp of instant yeast
1 ½ glasses of lukewarm water.
PREPARATION
Step 1.
Add flour, salt and yeast into a single bowl and mix well. Now gradually add the lukewarm water into the bowl and mix until you get a nice uniform mass.
Leave the dough for 7 – 12 hours until it is ready for baking.
A good indicator that the dough is ready is when bubbles start to appear on the surface of the dough.
Step 2.
Sprinkle some flour onto the working surface, and then transfer your dough from the bowl onto the working surface.
Form your dough, and then fold it like an envelope.
Cover your dough for 1 – 2 hours so it can grow. Don’t expect much, it will grow by ¼.
Step 3.
10 minutes before baking, preheat the oven at 230 degrees Celsius.
Put the dough into a container and cover it with a lid.
Bake your bread for 30 minutes at a temperature of 230 Degrees Celsius.
Step 4.
Remove the lid and bake your bread for 15 – 20 minutes at a temperature of 210 degrees Celsius.
Step 5.
Leave your bread for 30 minutes to rest.
As previously stated, this recipe doesn’t require a lot of skill just some time.
I hope that you found this recipe useful.
