It’s March which means that spring is upon us.
It is time to put away those strong winter scents and get something lighter and refreshing.
To help you out here is a list of 7 scents that I will be wearing this spring.
NOTE: This list is subjective, we all have different types of skins, so try out a perfume before you buy to see how it behaves on your skin. I will also rate the projection of the perfumes, again this is personal, your mileage may vary.
1. Bleu de Chanel Perfume – Hail to the king.
This is currently my No1 for this spring.
This opens quite unique, it smells like a fruit bubble gum but after 5 – 10 minutes you get ginger, lemon, and a bit of pepper.
It is fresh professional. Some list this as a fragrance for winter. I would disagree, this is an early spring fragrance
Since it’s a perfume it is a bit pricier but has great longevity, for me it lasted about 11 hours, as for projection I would give it 8/10.
2. Versace Dylan Blue – a youthful all-arounder.
Versace house knows how to make some good fragrances, and this one is no exception.
Dylan Blue starts out too strong, it smells like a mix of grapefruit and a synthetic smell, but after 10 minutes the synthetic smell dies down, and you get a pleasant grapefruit smell. After an hour a vanilla peppery smell comes into play.

This scent can be described in two words youth and energy. It is not a fragrance for the office, but it is perfect for casual settings and dates.
It lasted for about 6 hours, as for projection I would give it a 7/10.
3. Terre d’Hermes – a mature all-arounder.
A classic in every sense of the word.
I tried Terre d’Hermes last year and was pleasantly surprised. It has a subtle orange and a darker earthy smell.
As previosuly said, this is more of a mature fragrance which is good for most occasions. It works quite well as an office smell and casual occasions.
It lasted for 7 – 8 hours, as for projection 5.5 /10.
4. Versace Eros.
I never said that there wouldn’t be more than one Versace scent.
This is a youthful party fragrance that is all about fun. It has a mix of lemon and mint and a vanilla background.

It lasts for a long time about 9 hours and it performs, for projection I give it 8/10. Even though it gets hate it is a good blind buy.
5. Prada L’Homme – Elegance.
Yes guys, I do watch Jeremy Fragrance and that is why Prada is on my list.
I tried it a couple of days ago, and it didn’t disappoint. It has a pleasant, clean smell with raspberries. It has a good longevity about 8 hours.
This is perfect for formal events and business formal setting. As for projection I would say 5.5 – 6/10, which is a good thing.
6. Lacoste Pour Homme – a blast from the past.
Launched in 2002, this scent has aged well.
It opens with a nice, but not overpowering plum smell. After a couple of hours, you can smell cinnamon and apple. It is a pleasant and a non invasive scent.
This is perfect for a business casual or casual wear. Unlike Dylan Blue which is for younger people, this can be worn by everyone.
Its longevity and projection are decant 6.5/10, it will last about 4 – 5 hours.
7. David Beckham Beyond – a good inexpensive blind buy.
It was pleasantly surprised with this scent.
It has an clean woody scent with a bit of vanila, even if it is “cheap” it does not smell cheap.

This is a good budget pick for going out or business casual.
It has a decant performance about 4 hours and 6/10 for projection.
Did any of these fragrances make it into your collection, do you have any other picks for this spring. Share your thought in the comments.
